I am away from my books and looking at a block. Any help with the original useage of this is appreciated. Block 3782870. Date D202. Stamping F0427RB.

RB--passenger car (I believe that's manual transmission, 4-barrel) if I recall correctly--don't have my books with me

1967 motors manual shows as a 63 327 with manual trans. hi perf eng. ---if this helps---good luck,phil

I agree with Mike and Phil the RB suffix was used from '62 through 64 representing a 300hp 327 with amnual transmission in a passenger car.

I have RB coming out of a full size car in 1962.
