C3: dealer number 183?

I'm working on piecing back together a build sheet for a '70 that a mouse made a home out of. Some very interesting cludes are emerging. Anybody know who dealer #183 was?

I haven't found the micro-scrap with a zone # yet, but I believe the car came from the midwest/Illinois area.

There were many dealers with #183. You need to know which zone the dealer was in to narrow your search down to one dealer. Probably a #183 dealer in each zone... don't know how many zones there were

Dan: The above web site allows you to search by the dealer number. I did the search today for number 183 and found one in Medina, OH. Could that be the one?

By the way, Medina was the destination of (home of the buyer of) one of the "perfect" cars at the McMullen auction last Sat. It was a PHS documented 65 GTO ragtop, "triple black" with four speed and tri-power.

I watched the sale of 1953 Corvette number 157 at that same auction. Nobody believes me when I tell them the price.

Illonois had three possible zones,#3,11, 47. For zone #3 dealer #183 there is a listing for Coleman Chev located in West Frankford, Ill.
