    66 Stumbling update

Well, I put in a known good coil and ballast resistor from a neighbor's Corvette and took it out for a spin. Same stumbling and a nice back(after)fire through the tail pipe. I am going to pull the carb to see if any junk got stuck in a float or needle seat. In addition, I plan on pulling the distributor tomorrow to have it put on a machine to check it out.

Before you pull the distributor, try a new ignition condenser. They have a habit of creating the problem you discribe. Joe

Joe, put in a new condensor last week. I was trying to avoid all of the problem areas that I thought might be causing my stumbling. Gary
