69 vette Delco remy horn's ??

Hi guys
iam at the point to restore my horns on my 69 vette project ... and just found out they are not even vette's horn

is there anyone out there knows where or who can supply
original "DELCO REMY" dated horns for vette's ?

I think about the only way is to find a used set with the correct numbers and dates and have them rebuilt. You might call someone like Dennis Portka who rebuilds these horns and see if he has any that suit your needs for sale on an outright basis.

Almost no matter what you do, by the time everything is said-and-done, you're going to end up spending a lot more for these horns than they're really worth for a restoration.

was 245 and 246 horns where only used for corvette ? or also other gm cars ?

As far as I can tell, they were Corvette-only. However, I would not rule out the possibility that they had some other application. Keep in mind that the main difference in all these PRODUCTION part number hors, aside from "note", was the attached bracket. The bracket configurations varied from car model-to-car model.

Also call Joe Perri at 312-307-1977. He also restores horns and has some for outyright sale.
