Black 71

Was talking to a guy about an unrelated subject and he happend to bring up his father ordered a black/black 71 air roadster and the car now has less that 25000 miles. According to the Black Book there were no black 71's. What are your thoughts?

Keith,

For 1971 there were 10 colors offered in the Corvette model lineup. Those 10 color quantities add up to 499 short of the 21,801 production total for the model year. So I would suspect that there are a few black colored cars out there.

The car would only be considered valid if it has all the authentic documentation. ie: COPO
