And runs good also.

Four race cars at the start of the main straight at the defunct Medowdale Raceway a few days before Blooomington.

Dick Gulstrand driving, took it for a partial pass down the straightway and the others followed. Open headers and all. Brought cheers from the observers.

Beautiful cars, beautiful sounds.

The car second from the right is the 57 one owner fuel car owned by John Luther. He bought the car new around Chicago and drag raced , circle track raced and raced it at Meadowdale and other tracks. John has driven it to numerous SACC conventions and the car has over 200,000 miles on it. A lot of driving for a guy who is about 6'2". His wife says he's nuts, but aren't we all

Doesn't John now live in Florida?

He does drive the car all over the country. I ran across him at the Monterrey Historic Races in 2002.

John does live in Florida and has driven his 57 to many SACC National Conventions along with numerous other events.
By the way, it was nice meeting you in St Charles.
