How many? '68 options/production

Hi All,
How would one go about determining the aproximate number of cars built/delivered with the following options?

19467 base cp.
A01 tinted glass
C60 a/c
G81 posi 3:08:1
M40 auto trans
N36 tele
N40 p/s
PT6 red stripe tires
U69 am/fm
972 Polar white
Do/v dark orange vinyl interior---I have never seen this color interior; any way of knowing how many were produced?

The closest thing you're going to be able to get is use mathematical extrapolation from the Corvette Black Book to determine the number of cars made with these options. The Black Book will tell you the number of units per RPO item. The book tells you how to extrapolate. I find that there is a lot of error by this method.

The plant in St. Louis threw out much of the records after a period of time.

Records in Bowling Green are kept much better than in St. Louis. I recommended that someone look in to placing the records in a database and then sell the information about how rare a car is based on that information. I haven't heard back on my idea yet. There would be a lot of work getting the data in to the database.

I have a '68 Corvette Bronze L-89 with the Dark Orange vinyl interior. I saw another BB '68 with same color combo at the Corvette Chevy Expo in Houston in Feb 07 when Al's guys were installing a new interior.

I wouldn't give too much credibility to the results you get from your "survey" if you are trying to determine how many are around or even more dubious, would be any conclusion made on how many were produced.
