Front Header Windlace for 67 Soft Top

What does a REAL front header exterior windlace look like for a 67 soft top? Does color make a fifference if so then I am interested in teal blue?

    Thanks

Certainly the color matters. This is an original white.

Wayne, Good picture and thanks. I assume there is a differenc in materials between the top and windlace? It appears that way in picture. In your opinion is this difference in material related to the color of the tops? If so how?

GM actually sold these winlace covered rubber cores in the P&A 30 catalogs. I don't recall seeing Teal, but White and Black were sold over the counter. I cannot recall if they matched the tops material. They were duds. Nobody ever wanted them and they are buried somewhere.

The material for the front windlace and the rear wire on strip were long grained more like leather grain. It has a technical term. I dont know what it is, but both were different from the pin point material of the top.

Geff, Yes they are all burried because two of them are in my parts house. Just trying to find out what is correct. Of the original tops I have owned they have a madrid pattern vinyl. I have other people and suppliers tell me it is made of the same material as the top. I was just trying to get a majority opinion.
