Looking for a good Carburetor rebuild shop. Want throttle body bushings and the works. Had rebuilt locally but leaks and was told the throttle body bushings were bad. Runs awful. Also car seems to run hot, could this be part of the problem? Replaced clutch fan, flushed engine and radiator, set timing.

You need more than a carb rebuild shop... Most typically disassemble, clean, throw in a rebuild kit and give the carb back to with the owner doing the Quality Assurance function! Situations as you describe are quite common UNLESS you send the carb out for a FULL restoration which, incidentally, doesn't cost that much more...
On a full restoration, the carb receives more attention with individual components being checked for wear/warp and repaired or replaced as needed and a full replating. The gold dichromate wasn't put on to make the carb 'look pretty', it actually serves a function by sealing the pores of the carb's pot metal cast components.
Last, any good carb restorer finishes the job by mounting the carb on either a mule engine or flow bench and running it through its paces. In effect, they grade their own report card so there's no question about functionality.
You can find carb restorers advertizing their services in Driveline magazine. The best known for Holley work are Bob Kuntz and Jerry Luck, but there ARE others out there who do excellent work. The key is to ask what you get for the restoration price, does it include final test, and what track history they have with their carbs being judged at NCRS/Bloomington....
