Dutch Sting Ray register meeting

Dear all,

Herewith I want to share with you some of the happenings in The Netherlands. Around 150 C2 Sting Ray's (YES YOU READ IT CORRECT, 150!) have been tracked in our tiny country and each year the Dutch Sting Ray Registry organizes 2 meetings! On June 10th the first gathering for 2007 and around 13 C2s showed up. From North of Holland we drove with 4 Sting Ray's to the meeting. Here are some pics.....

From the Dutch Chapter side Sander, Twan and myself joined and fortunately we were able to sign some new local members up!

That would be a pretty rare sight here in the states, but across the big pond, that is something!!! I am curious to know if any of thoes cars are exports from GM new, or transplants over the last 40 years. I just started reading Noland Adam's Complete Restoration Guide Vol. II from cover to cover and all the stats for all the mid years show a quantity of "export" cars which I assume went anywhere in the rest of the world. Would be cool to know if any of thoes 150 cars were ordered new for export to you homeland.

Jim,

Majority are for sure transplants but we know of some original exports which entered Europe through GM France, this counts for both C1 and C2.
