Please read the latest continuance of the thread on this topic from John Hinckley. My previous assurance regarding the removal of the ballast resistor stands corrected.
Yup, that diagram is dead-nuts accurate; one of the guys over on the CF created it based on my explanation of how the Pertronix is SUPPOSED to be connected. The Pertronix tech guys know how it should be done, but apparently they've never talked to the guy who writes the instructions, or he ignores them.

Yes it came from the CorvetteForum. I don't claim any credit for it but that was an error of omission. I have an Ignitor I in my 1967 (about six years now, flawless) with an Ignitor II (and that diagram) in the glovebox for insurance.
