i am restoring a 70 lt-1. on my 57 corvette the date codes on parts went back about 3 months or so to be considered correct. how far back do the dates go back on a 70 model? if i need a part, how far back from the build date can i go back and still be correct? their are 15 days between the block and the build date on my car.
