    Help 63 Interior

I am restoring a 63 silver with 490K dark blue vinyl interior. It looks as if I should replace every thing from dash pads to carpet. In you guys best opinion who has the most correct. I have samples of Knoch's dash pads, seats and carpet here and as you can tell I am still looking. Thanks

In my opinion, Al Knoch will be hard to beat.

I think Al Knock's materials are the best also. Note that the reproduction dash pads are thicker then the originals. It can be a little difficult to get them into position.

Bob, thanks for your response. I have a sample of the material Knoch would use to make me a set of pads. My original are cracked, but are the correct color, configuration, gloss and texture. As you can tell everyone is telling me to go with Knoch, but who else is doing the pads? If I were judging the cars my original would out score the Knock's but we all want none damaged parts and most people will score the none damaged over the more correct. Just thought someone may know or a nice pair of originals I could buy and dye.

          Thanks

I would be cautious looking for originals. Pads that old would probably be brittle and could crack and I'm sure they would be very expensive. I actually got my dash pads from Corvette America, they look good. As I said previously they are a little thicker then the originals. I haven't had anyone look at the car and tell me the dash pads are replacements though I'm sure the experts could spot them.
