If the label you have is cloth like and has part number 327568 with the date you said 11-23-71 you have the real deal if it looks old. I have seen some trys at a repo but that cloth material is never right. You would not want this label to be lost by the USPS so save it for the meet you are going to and let the judges see it on the visor.

It is not on the visor/But stilll has the paper backing on it to peel off.
Oh yes I think it is 99% But what do I know.
It almost look like it was in a book.Only the edges have a very very slite discolor.Or the only part that saw sun light. Denny72

Keep it as one of those neat parts that you stash away as "reference." It means more for people to see it as-is than if you try and stick it on the car. Once you do that, the age clock starts ticking.

If you want I can take it to Boston for Reba to look at, but my suggestion is you hang on to it until you meet her. You will enjoy her seeing it in person more than if someone else is involved.

If you decide to go for Bowtie judging you will meet her next year.
