I hope you guys can stand another dumb question. I haven't 'opened up' my car in several years, partly because it is 40 years old, and I don't know what would happen. But, is the fuel in the secondary bowl just sitting there all this time? Should I manually drain it? Thanks.

Re: '67 carburetor question
When adjusted correctly, the secondary throttle plates are always open slightly, even at idle. This assures that fuel is always cycling through the secondary float bowl. The evaporation, especially with the swill we call gasoline today, is not part of the grand scheme.- Top
