Re: they stopped making Corvette's after '57
Good thing they didn't though Dr. Geoffrey. Otherwise you would had to get a real job don't u think. heeeeee. In our Pittsburgh Chapter we have a ton of 56's and 57's. All the senior citizens have them. Probably our guys forgot more about those 56 and 57's than most ever learned. At our last little chapter show we had 3 of 57's out of 9 cars judged. That's a lot. Take care, John That's a really nice pic. I miss Cypress Gardens. Used to steal a lot of orange there.- Top

Wayne,
Thanks for sharing old memories. For some reason, I still think of our January meet as being Cypress Gardens and sometimes those words stumble out.

Re: Favorite Picture Cypress Jan. 1983
i too often refer to the florida regional as cypress. those january regionals from about 1980 till they moved to orlando were the BEST NCRS meets, in terms of friendships and parking lot parties, i ever attended.i was gonna mention some of the cypress political BS i encountered but decided against it. wish we could go back. mike- Top

Doc, I understand the swap meet area has a "big box" store in it. I have asked the question about going back, but understand that the logistics of putting on a meet the size we have today is impossible.. Lotsa good times and memories.Dick Whittington- Top
