    C2 Window Regulator Spring

Anyone have any tips/tricks on installing the spiral tension spring for the window regulator? Wasn't difficult too remove, but installing is a different story.

Just run the regualtor around to the position where the spring would be almost completely relaxed, and grab the end of the spring with a pair of vicegrips, and you can get it engaged fairly easily. When the regulator is almost all the way up, there is very little spring tension on it.

Thanks John. I thought I already had it run in the up position, but I'll double check. Sometimes it's the obvious that eludes me.

        Don,

It is also pretty easy to get turned around and try to put the spring on backwards, don't ask me how I know! I have put quite a few springs on and still try and do them backwards every now and then.
