    1972 engine pad characters (numbers and letters)

    I NEED PICTURES OF THE CORRECT ENGINE PAD CHARACTERS (NUMBERS AND LETTERS) FOR EARLY (SEPTEMBER) 1972 454 ENGINE WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ENGINE FROM TONAWANDA PLANT.

    I don't have what you are seeking, but I do have a couple suggestions that may help:

    1. Turn off the capital letters, seems like you are shouting.
    2. Ask nicely, they are a lot of helpful people here, but any responses are "volunteer" work, and people should be treated with respect.

        A good source for seeing what your asking for is the Dobbins 1968-1972 Stingray Factbook.

          Beware of photos and online databases. There is no effort to "weed out" the non original pads. Form your own opinion of each one you see.

            I looked into my crystal ball and see you making a trip to Boston in a few weeks... and a good time will be had by all. Really you should try to attend. So many great cars to look at in detail.
