'66 knock off wheel weights location

Exactly where are the weights attached on knock off wheels?...Attaching them to the back would certainly look best..any problems with that?

I think if you look at the AIM, you'll find it calls for weights to be installed ONLY on the back rim (both std steel and optional cast aluminum wheels). Now, at the factory, they were dealing with fresh/new wheels without 'curbing' distortion and it may NOT be possible to get an optimum balance profile on used wheels with this technique short of using a non-standard set of wheel weights (e.g. the stick-on's that mount to the inside rim surfaces...

Wheel weight location; either side for steel rims

For steel rim, the '66 AIM says that weights may be installed on either side of the rim. I don't know about knock-offs.

Inside edge of rim only per '65 AIM and TIM&JG *NM*

I think '67 is also inside, but

'66 can go either inside or outside and should not get a juding deduct, at least for steel rims.
