We have a Sept 1962, 1963 model corvette convertible. The previous owner achieved multiple top flight awards. In reviewing his documents we noticed he had received deductions for not having plastic. This is the plastice bag around the manual etc in the glove box. He has everything in a checrolet super service "envelope" dated 11/23/1960.Your comments please paper or plastic?

Re: paper or plastic?
I'm not familiar with the advent of the plastic bag, however, if you look in your AIM, it should indicate a part number for that item. Compare the number on your "paper" container. If its the same then yo have the correct item; if not then you need a different bag.- Top

Re: paper or plastic?
Jerry,
Try Corvette Central or Long Island Corvettes. They should have the plastic owner's manual bag for 1967. Remember, you have to ask foe the '67 bag.

Re: The AIM
Now, should I change the water pump? We think this previous owner suffered because he did not or would not correct the judges. Maybe this is not allowed. I do not have the ability to have a car judged. We had a ferrari judged but that was different. From a perfect score he had 60 points removed and was so discussed he sold me the car. This is as perfect as we have ever seen. This is the end of my observations. Will go back to being a good observer.- Top
