Is there a resource available within NCRS that can identify if a particular vin number has previously participated in an NCRS event?

Yes...

Roy Sinor HAS compiled a data base of cars judged, but there are two caveats:

(1) The only information NCRS retains after a car is judged is the Scoring Summary Sheet. This means you know what the bottom line outcome was + whow the car fared in Operations, Interior, Exterior, Mechanical and Chassis on that day. It does NOT give you 'blow by blow' details of where various deduction(s) were taken on a line item basis.

(2) NCRS is a private club run by members for members. Information is not available to the general public...

Add on to John's post. Roy is EXTREMELY busy with the upcoming National Convention. I would not expect that he would be able to do the research until after the Convention.
