SS moulding trim

Getting ready to have my 63 SWC SS reveal moulding and window glass trim polished.
My question is: What can I expect to pay to have the entire SS trim polished, buffed ? How many hours does it take, on average, to do this polishing job ?

There are no dings, all trim is just dull, and slightly scratched.
I don't want to have to take it to several Vendors for quotes. If I have a ball park number, it would help.

The pieces involved are:
1. Front windshield reveal molding
2. (2) Rear split window reveal molding
3. LH and RH door and glass glass moulding, including swing windows.

Parts Vendors qouted me approx $1,000 for the front and back windows reveal moulding, and I don't know, if that involves stripping chrome before polishing and flashchrome afterwards.
Was all SS trim flashchromed ?
I would like to know what I am getting into...

I would suggest that you contact Pete Johnston thru the user profile header. He just had his molding refinished and they were perfect. The price was, to me, extremely reasonable.

When I was a couple years younger with more time, I did a a few sets for other people for $75 a stick. Dents were extra and the price did include stripping and reapplication of flash chrome.

All the pieces will need the flash chrome to be correct. Rick Applegate at Areba Services did the flash chrome work and I think he could do the stipping and buffing too if needed.
