    Corvette Half-Shafts

Did any of the IRS Corvettes have a slip joint or slip yoke in or connecting to the half-shafts?

      No
The half shaft actually transfers force toward the differential as the wheel(s) deflect upward, and is the upper member of the suspension. A slip joint would negate all that.

Vipers have a sliding-spline joint in their half-shafts, but they have both lower AND upper control arms at the rear; on a Corvette, the half-shaft also functions as the upper control arm.
