Pulled my 1962 windshield and as expected one of the Tabs was broken. Sent the posts to corevette central and instead of welding (as my past posts were repaired) they milled a recess to screw mount two piece tabs to the bottom of the windshield posts...

ending of the story is; assembly time was within three hours as the two piece, screw on tabs, the bottom anchor plate can be assembled with the lower frame before installing the lower frame/lower reveal molding. no more poking around, gluing etc.

Paul Mazut (Mr. Solid Axle) also mills the post and the new tabs then screw in. He did a pair for me and they came out beautiful, quick turn around too. Rich
