    '73 Nose Piece

The nose piece on the '73 I'm having worked on disintegrated long ago. In addition to needing to order a new one, I'm told there's an additional piece that goes behind it, which helps it keep it's shape. But I only see in Eckler's a honeycomb cushion for a 75-82. Did the '73 use such a piece....I don't remember that it did.

Finally, recommendations on a source for a good nosepiece? Eckler's has Urethane, Fiberglass, and Flex-Fit. Is one of those preferable, or should I look elsewhere?

The front had the steel bumper with two rubber strips on the front that do very little and can't be seen when the cover is installed. The closest thing to original and the best fit out of the box can be ordered at your local GM dealer. With a discont it will be over $500. and the last one I bought had a black finish on the back as original
