My '66 is all matching #'s, date codes, casting#'s, etc. I do not intend on having my car judged, but would like opinions on whether or not to pay $75 extra to date stamp a new convertible top, since I'm buying one anyway. Can't really imagine it would help a future owner decide whether or not to buy my car. Any thoughts?

Re: convertible top...to date stamp or not???
Why not?
If nothing else, it will add to the value of the car, and possibly save the future owner the grief of having to replace the top just because of the date code.
There are no down sides to it.
