Ladies & Gentlemen,

Unfortunately, I have been diagnosed with Stage IIIA Lung Cancer in the upper right lobe and I will be experiencing surgery in the near future. My surgical procedures and recovery period will not allow my wife and me to attend the NCRS National Convention, an event that I looked forward to with gret anticipation. Also. I shall truely miss meeting the people I have'nt meet before and seeing my friends from other events.

Please pray for me.

Kent, good luck with your surgery. Your condition is serious, but trust your doctors. I was diagnosed with kidney cancer a few days before Lance Armstrong won his first Tour in 1999. I swore he was talking to me during his victory speech when he discussed his battle with cancer and gave those with cancer a pep talk. I went in for surgery three days after his victory speech and he made those few days of waiting much easier for me. One of the hardest parts is the unknown.Talking to others realy helps I know!

Kent, my wife was diagnosed three years ago, and it didn't really look good. She is such a kind, good hearted person, she literally had around 3,000 people praying for her recovery. The Lord heard the prayers, and with the surgical skills of her doctor, has had her life saved.
Not only will she and I be praying for you, but I will be asking many others for their prayers also. You cannot have too many prayers.
