    1957 Fresh Air System/Electric Fan

This 1957 has a Fan with an Electric Motor mounted between the inlet at the front Core Support Extension and the Heater Core Cover. In other words it is spliced into the 4" diameter Fresh Air Hose. It is a very neat installation and looks original. Is that possible? Your comments are greatly appreciated.

    Best Wishes!

Bob, I'd like to see a photo of that setup. I wouldn't remove it if I were you unless you are going all out for judging. That's the latest thing for the boys to keep the fuel system on the cool side. Helps out a lot with the FI cars for sure. I would leave it in for sure. With todays' gas boiling at a lower temp the fan is an excellent idea. I dreamed that brain storm up many years ago for my customers and the ones that used it had great results. Pics appreciated. Thanks, John
