67�s how and where they were shipped?

My dad has a 67 coupe 121614 that I believe due to the poor condition of the tank sticker was shipped to Harrisburg Pa area. Now I know of a 67 owned by the original owner that bought theirs new in Westminster MD. Which is less then 100 miles away. And over the years on the internet and other publications where cars ate for sale. I have noticed all the cars with in 500 serial numbers plus or minus of my dads car that they are all around PA. MD, NJ, OH, WV, and NY area. And they have all been small block cars. Where as my dads car is an AO Smith body. Is this all a coincidence. Or where they shipped in batches to regions.
