Original 1985 wiper blades still mounted, and still streak free. Problem is, sometimes they do not move smoothly (yes, on a wet windshield). This is about a 50-50 shot. When this happens, they move in a "jerky/jittery" manner, If you can imagine, the arc is traveled in 3-4 inch segments with a slight pause between each. This sometimes causes the lades to contact each other, and, in a severe "episode" they will hang up. Linkage has been adjusted, several times.......if I adjust to provide more separation between the arms, then the upper blade does not park properly.
I know that the glass is clean, because I always use either Windex or ammonia. Blades themselves are also cleaned, using paper towels and ammonia.
Suggestions? Should I Simoniz the windshield? How about some kerosene wiped on with newsprint?
