69 T-Top Bags

Hi guys

would "naugahyde" be a correct manufacturer for T-Top Bags in 69
my 69 vette built date is december 17 1968 and the bags are dated 9-68
(september 68)

Hi Frank, my 75' was built on May 15/75 and shipped on the 20th. The t-top bags are dated 05/75.

I think mine are staamped TEX on my 1970, but I am not in a position to check -- and I don't have the file with the car's dates with me. I will check following th econvention. Send me a PM to remind me.

My late 68 and late 69 were both "TEX"

Are the dates ink stamped or imprinted like the name?? Naugahyde is a new one on me. Never seen that before, but who knows?

The photo below is from my 1969 Corvette (approximate 8-08-69 birthday). They both read Naygahyde 1-69.

My early '70 has TEX bags color matched to the car (Bridgehampton Blue), with a late '69 date on them.....can't recall what it is exactly....

Mine looks like the same as yours Kent but says 12-68 for a Jan31/69 car.

Okay, I believe that you have the correct bags for your car. Reba and I both have seen that logo, just never noticed the wording. I guess several little nauga's gave their life to make the bags Seriously, the date you see is when the material was made, not the bag. The bag manufacturer ink stamped the manufacturing date.
