Dear Friends,
I left the hospital Thursday. Before they could do much futher investigation, I had an upper respritory infection and pneumonia that required treatment first. Seems as though my lung cancer is Stage IIIB which means it's inoperable. However, there is hope from many people at the local hospital Cancer Institute for a long life following chemo therapy & radiation treatments. So, we get a super port put in in a week, or so, and start daily treatments that will last about 8 weeks prior to another evaluation to see where we stand. Hey, I'm a tough guy, so I'll fight this with all my might and your continued prayers.
I have been through the gamet of emotions not knowing exactly where we were. That's over ... now to fight the good fight.
Thanks for all your prayers, thoughts, emails, posts to my previous thread, etc. We at NCRS have great friends!!! So sorry to have missed another National Convention.
Keepin my motor runnin
Best regards,
Kent Keech
