    72 Vacum tank installation

    Hey Folks,

Do you have any tips for replacing the vacum tank on my 72 small block 4spd. I have removed the master cylinder to have better acess, but things still look tight. Any help would be greatly apprecaited.

    Regards,

    Greg,
You're on the right track in taking the master cylinder out. I found that loosening the horn relay helps a little. I also dropped the ECS carbon canister down to give the vacuum tank more wiggle room. You have to be able to twist the tank as you take out and put it back in, in order to get the mounting ears on the tank to clear the body. Good luck.
