Parts Finishing Guide

Hi,

Does anyone publish or know where I can get a guide of sorts which will let me know what finish (i.e. flat black, gloss, natural) is appropriate for which parts in the C2 family??? The JG is good but really does not go into that level of detail....

Since no one has answered yet Joel, I'll take a stab at it.

What I did and am still doing with my 69 is use the TIM&JG and yes it does have omissions so it only fills in part of the story. For those items not listed in the TIM&JG if you look close enough especialy where the part mated against another part you can often see what the original finish was. Make a note and write it down for future reference. For all the other parts that I couldn't identify the finish of I just requested the help from the guys and gals on this forum and have yet to be let down. So between those three resources you should be able to ID all of your factory original finishes.

There are some books that list some finishes but as far as I know, none come close to the TIM&JG.
