Another tire question: I am looking for modern radial 5/8" ww tires from one of the original manufactures (Goodyear, Firestone, BFG, Uniroyal, General) in 205/75-R15 for my 67 driver. These tires will be for driving short distances at easy speeds. All that I have found are 3/4" whitewalls. Could not find anything recent in the Archieves. Anybody recently bought any modern 5/8" ww tires? Thanks- Steve

Diamond Back Tires will put any width/location whitewall you want on just about any manufacturer's radial tire you want.

Re: C2 (67) Modern WW Tires?
John- Thanks for the reply. I was really only trying to find a local tire to buy with a 5/8" Whitewall. I thought that I had seen them in the past but the selection is getting slim these days. The Firestone FR-380 has a 5/8" WW in 14" size, but it jumps to 3/4" for 15" tires. Anyway, I'll keep looking- Steve- Top

Re: C2 (67) Modern WW Tires?
Hi Steve, this might help. I saw a set of four tires on a caddy with the very thin white-wall, just like the red-wall tires. And the tire is?..... MICHELIN symmetry, and the three sizes for your car would be 205-65-15, 205-70-15, 215-70-15, hope this helps out.
