Just returned from the NCRS Regional at Indianapolis. Nobody showed up! Never seen this happen before! I hope there's more intrest this weekend at the chapter meet in Mars, Pa.

Sorry you missed us. You were a little early though. The meet is this coming weekend as always. We have had it at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Father's Day for the last 9 years. I hope you have a good time at Mars, but reserve Father's Day next year for the Indiana Chapter Meet.

Why, I kin remember jist like yestidy, I wuz drivin mah boat anchor, an dis dude in 57 Chevy, had kinda funny hood, big, tall, had dese funny lukin' round things pokin through, like washtubs, two of em, we wuz by a light, and dis jerk kept smokin dem back tires, nevah could figure how comes he stood still, anyways, light turned green, and dis mouse took off like a bat out of hell, ah mean to tell ya, I thought mah clock wuz about to get dusted, but den ah remembers dat first gear is a real slug, an I wuz jus bidin' mah time till ah hit third, an when ah did, ah sure did hit third, and when dat happen, ah mean to tell ya, dat poor lad, da look on dat poor lad's face when ah roared by him, was as id HE had de boat anchor holdin' 'im back. Yes sireee, luv dem boat anchors, lotsa torque, an lots horsed.
We pulled over an da lad, kind nice after he got dusted, he weren't as cocky as he was by da light, said, he ain't nevah been beat by no corvette, showed me his mousy w/tunnel ram an two holleys, 4:88's, said mah boat anchor made some serious horse power to pass 'im like ah did.
