C2 66 Nose Panel Tabs

My new nose panel (top) has three tabs for mounting the grill. It appears I only need the middle one. Should I cut off the outer tabs for judging? It looks like I need to trim off the 5 tabs on the lower valance also. Thanks.

The tabs are for earlier year cars and you might as well cut them off, even if you won't have your car judged. There might also be two attaching tabs on the outside corners. Those are more difficult to remove, and would require cutting them out and replacing the removed fiberglass.

The service replacement panels are the early production panels, so they'll work on all '63-'67's, with or without the tabs for the early grilles and grille opening moldings. You only need the center tabs.
