Brush marks, orange peel?

I never use a brush, just open the lid of the can and throw the paint on the car, let dry, sand, polish. There is a technique how you throw the paint so that one gallon covers the car. You should see the finish, like a mirror. Why, you can see your reflection on a dark, heavily overcast day. My 68 is a testimonial to what ah say, boss.

I use a ladle and a shop rag

Yeah, I just ladle it on, then spread it out to a nice even film with a shop rag. Works great! Boy, that old acrylic lacquer is sure easy stuff to work with. Tried the "throw" method, but too much splattered on the garage walls. -it's Friday!
