Has anyone seen first hand the wheels that Americas Finest Corvettes are selling? The proclaim the wheels to be exactly like the KH wheels and for the amount of money they want for the wheels I was looking for fist hand comments.
I purchased a set of these wheels for 64. The edge of the fins does not have a machined finish but is instead finished in the same light grey finish as the side of the fins and the area between the fins. I don't have an original KH wheel to compare. I have not received the spinners or adapters yet from CA.
I, too, might be interested in purchasing a set of these particular bolt-on wheels for my '64. Seems AFC is the only vendor carrying these 'thin fin' style wheels compared to what other vendors offer.
Recently, at a car show in Capitola, along with other cars in the show there were two C2's parked fairly close to one another - a '64 and '65. .. . Both cars had the factory style KO wheels installed - one with thin fins; the other with apparently aftermarket thicker finned wheels.
After eyeballin' both styles back and forth I came away knowing that I preferred the thinner fin wheels over the thicker style. I felt the thinner fins did visibily look better.
