    66 heater blower problems

Getting ready for judging at Illinois chapter meet next weekend and trying figure out why the heater blower does not work. Pulled the motor and birdcage out and hooked up to power suppy and it works. Fuse on panel is good. Any other suggestions for a quick fix without removing MANY parts?!?!? Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, Tim

If that ground is OK (also grounds the wiper motor), could be the fan switch on the control cable or the resistor on the inner heater box.

Thanks for the responses. Pretty sure the ground is OK as I just had that area apart. How hard is it to get to the resister in the heater box?

        Thanks, Tim

          Tim -

It's not real convenient - it's on the left side of the inner heater box, on the forward vertical face, facing the firewall - see your Assembly Manual, section 1Asm, sheets E5 and E6.

              John,
Looks like it's more involved than I have time for this week. Sounds like I need to pull the switch also to check it out. Guess I'll take the hit in Operations and add it to the list for winter projects!

              Thanks to all who responded.
