What should the trim code be for a June 1963 convertible, red vinyl, U69 radio, no a/c?

But, per Sinor/Grenning trim tag book, there were "growing pains" and a significant number of known originals have codes that differ from the original tables published in their book. Earlier revisions with your options had "M" or "R", with D being used from April 26th to EOP for base convertibles, defined as without C60 (no radio), or without C60 and U69, but with U69.
