My 89 Guage Cluster lights are bright on the left hand side of the cluster and a little less bright on the right half of the Cluster. The Cluster was repaired once before. Has anyone seen this before?? Can I fix the right hand side dim light problem myself or do I have to send the Cluster out for repair again?? Thanks for the help.

Re: 89 Guage Cluster.
Like Wayne mentions there are replaceable bulbs. Specifically they are halogen 882's and are not $1.98 bulbs. The most difficult thing to do in changing the burnt out bulb or bulbs is removing the headlight knob in order to remove the plastic bezel for access to the bulbs. The headlight knob has recessed area or cut at the front of the knob. Press small screwdriver in this area to release the knob. Word of caution, use only the correct halogen bulb. Keep the bulbs clean during installation. A rubber hose can be used to remove and replace the bulbs.- Top
