My 66 has been sitting for over one year. Re-started last week and yesterday. Both times I noted a wisp of smoke from the resistor on the firewall. This part does not look correct by the way. It's "narrow" compared with others I have seen. Comments?
Re: C2 66 427 390 HP - Smoke from firewall resisto
Tom -
If it's "narrow", it's either a generic parts store replacement with spade terminals or it's from a Mopar. Paragon has a decent reproduction with the correct resistance.
