    air cleaner element

Any recommendations for where I can buy a correct looking air cleaner element for 66 L79? Should I settle for a A212CW from Summit? Thanks

    Bob,

If by "correct looking" you mean one that won't get any deducts during judging, the answer is there isn't one. At least not to the best of my knowledge. There are newer and older AC Delco A212 filters that come up often on e-bay, but none are 100% correct. I think there are some specific differences if you check teh archives.

I think Paragon used to sell a decent repro that wasn't perfect, but it was reasobably good for the price. Last I heard Paragon no longer had access to the GM tooling and the repro was now out of production.

For some reason I cannot post images this morning, so here are links to photos of a correct element.
