Fuse for '63 - SAE 20 ?

I'm looking at picking up some spare fuses for the '63 (just in case).

According to the reprint "Owenrs Guide", the correct fuse for the Stop, License and Courtesy or Dome Lamp is an SAE 20 amp. (Page 46)

I can only seem to find SFE 20 amp fuses at the auto parts stores locally.

Are they the same? If not, where is the best place to pick up one of these animals?

SFE 20 is correct, SAE 20 must be a typo

We just got a memo at work on fuses. There are non oem fuses being sold that are imports that dont pop . They have caused meltdowns & fires . When tested with 50 amps ,15 amp fuses were not poping. These are the colored plastic 2 prong fuses. The ones tested came from harbor freight and were in a multi fuse kit marked storhouse fuse set. Best to pay a little more and buy name brand .I have also seen import bulbs with a very short life span....Bill

I have some older SFE 20 fuses that my father bought in the 1950s when he worked at a Cadillac dealership.

I have to believe these are "Made in America".

Just test them before you use them ;-)
