    HD battery cables

    Anyone know of a good source for heavier duty battery cables for a C2 ?

    I have been having a slight hot start problem, and a problematic ground issue with the neg. cable. So I am going to try heavier gauge cables first, then deal witha solenoid spring, and starter and so on.

    What gauge should I step up to ?

          Truthfully, the cables are so short in a C-2 that the gauge of wire does not have any significant impact. If the terminals at each end of the cable are well attached I think you can eliminate the battery cables as the source of the problem.

              make sure they are not copper plated aluminum

              you can tell by the weight. use only pure copper welding cables
