      Re: 1970 shocks ??

I had the same question RE replacing the aftermarket shocks on my '66 Coupe. Joe Lucia suggested using delco reactek shocks. At the time, the shocks were very similar to the original configuration, with the idea being, after a coat of dove gray semigloss, they would recieve only a small deduct for configuration, where finish and mfg. would retain full points. I believe these may have changed configuration over the last couple years, so I'm not clear what the best functional alternative is.
