I have followed the posts below and spent some time thinking about all that was said and have a few thoughts.
I think losing Clem as well as others with many years experience working on Corvettes is a great loss to everyone on the tech board as well as NCRS in general. I sincerely hope a way can be found through this to keep Clem sharing his knowledge with us. I use Clem's name but wish to include others who fall in the same category.
Having said that, the Board of Directors has voted to make the tech board a members only function.
The Board of Directors includes a Representative from each region of the country. Those Representatives are elected by the membership in each region.
Do you know who your Representative is?
Do you know your Representative?
Do you ever talk to him?
Do you let him know your ideas for NCRS?
If you want something done, posting complaints and opinions on this tech board is a waste of time. I know some Representatives participate here but complaints provide little guidance.
If you want to accomplish something, spend time thinking about what you want.
Put your thoughts in writing in a clear, positive manner not as a complaint.
Send those suggestions to your Regional Representatives.
They are your voices on the Board of Directors.
