    Painted '65 L78 frame

I got my chassis back from the sandblaster this week and got it primed and painted. I just thought I'd share the photo so you'll understand why I'll be posting questions in the future about L78 cars.

    Best,

Chassis looks good. What'd you use for paint?

It's a shame that thoroughbred has to share a stable with all those mules. :-)

Hi Norris. I'm just glad to have the space to work on my car. Beggars can't be choosers!

I used an epoxy primer and two good coats of semi gloss paint with a hardner. When I removed my body, I counted all of the shims and marked the shim marks on the freshly painted frame accordingly. The frame stencil was still pretty readable, so I just had LI make a new frame stencil for me to match the original.

      Still a long road ahead.
