67 Stinger Hood Paint Dimensions

Just finished painting the body on my 67 coupe today.I would like some input on the dimemsions, stripe dia, length etc. Or any books I could look up the sizes the factory was using.

About a couple 3 months or so ago this was a subject that was brought up and I mentioned the stencil kit I had purchased and some members had neg/reactions. So I have an open mind to those who have used the stencil vs the set procedures and dimensions they used from books or pictures. Any input appreciated. I forgot what books these members were getting the dimensions from.

I tried to archive the info but no cigar.I do have lots of close up pictures of stinger hoods but need the striping (LxW) dimensions and thanks for the help.grr#33570

The '67 assembly manual has the exact layout for the proper stripe setup

The problems with the assembly manual drawing is that it is done in decimal inches you will have to convert to fractions. Also the point of the nose stripe has no dimension. The outside stripe goes just under the edge of the emblem and points out a little over an inch from the end of the raised area.

Thanks Bill for the info, I have the Red 1967 Corvette Assembly Manual and binder. What page do you show the hood dimensions? I must ahve passed mine up I can't find one with dimensions.All my pages are numbered by hand top enter of each page also. Easier to use that way.

Page 406 is my last page and shows the print for U69,sht.#B1,antennna assy. installation.Hope we have the same manuals.Thanks,grr#33570.
